New Mexico Registered Nurse 28 Hours Needed
Nurses are required to renew their licenses every 2 years (24 months) based on the date of original licensure.
RNs and LPNs: Required 30 contact hours every two year licensing period.
APRNs: Required 50 contact hours every two year licensing period, licensees who hold a federal drug enforcement administration registration and licensure to prescribe opioids, are required 15 hours in pharmacology, 5 of which must be in non-cancer pain management.
Renewal fee is $93.
